The Emily Hinde award is open to female players and coaches.

Emily played for the club during the 2000’s under Andy Matthews. She sadly passed away in 2018 after a lengthy cancer battle. The family kindly donated an award which they want to go to an inspirational female within the club. The family would like a nomination from each coach in the club that supports a female team. They would like someone that has gone above and beyond, done something exceptional, worked hard, conquered a fear, helped their team etc.

The Amber Sheehy Resilience Award is open to all involved at the club.

Amber played for Horsford Football Club for a short period of time whilst she was battling cancer at the age of 8 years old, before she lost her fight and passed away in 2023. The resilience award is to recognise a member of the club (player, coach, committee member) of any age who has faced a huge challenge in their lives, whether this be themselves through serious illness, loss of a loved one, a serious change in their lives or fighting through mental health, but still continues to make Football part of their lives and through sheer resilience they are still able to enjoy the great game.
